👋 How has your first time at LEKAB been, and tell us more about your role as UX/UI design and quality engineer?
– It has been a very exciting learning experience, where I learn about LEKAB, its personality, values, and mission. During this time, I met LEKAB's dedicated team members in Sweden and Finland. Personally, it is an honour to work in such a company that has had a long-standing connection with not only its customers but also many employees for more than two decades. This explains LEKAB's workplace norms and welcoming culture very well.
– I am responsible for researching, designing, innovating, and photocopying user experiences. I work closely with project management, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs to enhance customer satisfaction.
💼 Tell us about your past work experiences. What did you do before you began working for us?
– I previously worked in huge and small start-up companies in multiple countries. My journey from Graphic to UX/UI designer is from dial-up ADSL to ultra-connected society. However, working in different cultures and companies with very creative and great minds is my greatest experience.
– It is worth mentioning that I also worked as a freelancer for quite some time, which taught me self-management that has helped to improve my skill set.
🎯 What motivates you the most at work?
– As a designer, you are constantly faced with the opinions of others while you work on any UX design project. Learning is what I love about my job the most. Being a UX designer, I like to do problem-solving and learn and understand other people's behaviours, needs, and motivations.
🏕️ What do you like to do in your spare time?
– I like to spend time with my family, watch movies and cook in my spare time. I also watch different designers' work, the tools they used, and their thoughts behind the whole process
