LEKAB partners with Kofax to offer the market’s best RPA solutions

Robotic Process Automation, or RPA, offers a cost-effective and simple way to streamline administrative tasks by automating work. In our drive to help businesses and organizations streamline their work using robotic process automation, LEKAB is partnered with Kofax, one of the market’s leading platform providers.

More and more of our clients express interest in using RPA to automate tasks and connect different platforms together, and we are happy to be able to offer them a product with quality we believe so strongly in. Christian Hasselström, Chief Commercial Officer at LEKAB, says about investments in RPA and the choice of Kofax as partner:

“RPA is a simple yet powerful tool for streamlining repetitive administrative tasks. It can be used for order scheduling and shipment tracking, customer and employee onboarding, insurance and debt collection, financial account aggregation, and so much more. Tasks that are performed repeatedly and often experienced as monotonous and downright dull by employees are ideal for RPA solutions.”

“LEKAB has had a long and close collaboration with Kofax based in different types of communication services, a collaboration that we’re now deepening as we bring our focus to RPA based on the Kofax TotalAgility platform. Kofax has a proven track record in health care, transportation and logistics, and financial services, industries that many of the organizations we collaborate with operate in. We see this as a great strength in our choice of partner.”

What do you see as the biggest challenge to getting started with RPA?

“Something that gives many of the companies we meet pause for thought is the sheer variety of information and systems that need to be integrated. Today, administrative processes don’t merely span across internal support systems, rather they frequently extend to external data sources. It’s about being able to work seamlessly with information, even when it is spread out on different web pages, portals, applications and cloud-based services such as email and Excel.”

“One big advantage of Kofax’s solution is that the platform is specifically designed to connect data from all types of sources and to automate work processes that involve different platforms. In this respect, we think competing solutions are lagging behind.”

Why do we need more software, like RPA solutions, to automate workflows? Can’t today’s IT departments solve these issues themselves?

“Most IT departments are not clamoring for more work to do these days. In fact, most of the time they are already wrestling with how to deliver what their organization expects from them quickly and often with shrinking resources. For them, starting a project from the ground up and creating automated workflows through qualified system integration usually isn’t on the table. It’s simply too expensive, too complicated, and too time-consuming.”

“Here, the Kofax RPA platform brings another unique advantage. It requires no development or coding to automate our clients’ workflows and processes. We usually tell people that it’s so simple even business managers and process owners can create workflows without needing help from the IT department. It’s easier and much faster to both set up new automated work processes with RPA and to adjust them when needed than it is to integrate applications from scratch. In a time when everything moves rapidly, and the competition gets tougher every day, companies are looking for ways to unburden employees of repetitive tasks so they can focus on more vital business aspects.”
